This city was Rome's port around 2000 years ago. Due to the Tibre river changing paths and other things, the city was slowly abandoned. Since then the coast has moved farther out and the city is not even near the water. It has been excavated for about the past 100 years. This place was really cool because it was about a half our train trip to get to it, and there were barely any people there.
